Annie hadn't been back from Seoul long; she was cooking a quick dinner when she heard the knock. "Coming!" She set the meat to simmer, going to open the door and smiling when she saw her sister's ex. "BB. Hey. Come on inside. I have meat cooking. You come to see Dani?" She looked pretty happy, actually; Annie wondered just what was going on.

"Mmhmm, you too. How've you been? You look fantastic." She grinned and hugged her as she moved inside. "Mmm, meat." She toed off her flats, bouncing a little as she went.

"I'm doing just fine." Annie grinned. She and Jae-sun had stayed up talking for a while, she'd slept like a log, and then there had been more sex in the morning before she got home. "Dani, though ..." She wasn't sure how much BB knew, so Annie just shook her head. "You can have some meat, don't worry. I made extra."

"You look it. And I know, Dani's ... it's sad, but I think she's starting to expect life to shit on her." She wrinkled her nose before walking further inside. She heard noises from upstairs and called out. "Dani, Roxy, it's BB!" Her yell was rewarded with three pairs of pitter pattering feet. Dani came running down the stairs to jump on BB, wrapping her arms around her and kissing her lightly on the mouth. "Hey, you!"

"Oh, she is." Annie sighed, but couldn't help laughing when Roxy and Dani came down. BB had always been good for Dani; sometimes Annie wished those two hadn't broken up. Roxy sort of danced around BB's feet, barking. "Roxy, shush."

BB grinned brightly, hugging Dani hard for a moment before kneeling down to hug Roxy as well. "Hey, cutie! I missed you. Your boyfriend's doing good, I'll tell him you miss him." She'd always joked that Chocomilk was Roxy's boyfriend, since they both sort of matched and had always gotten along well.

Dani smiled and wrapped her arms around BB's shoulders, the height disparity between the two of them somewhat funny. "Oh, I think Anniegirl's making meats for us. Hnng. Hey, your hair is cute, I dig the flower."

"I am making you meat, out of the goodness of my heart," Annie said, leaning against the wall, smiling. BB did look happy; she was wearing a pink rose in her hair, which was a little unusual. "And yeah, why the rose? It's nice."

Dani moved to hug her sister. "You're a saint, Anniegirl, the patron saint of delicious meats." She grinned and wrapped her arms around Annie, lifting her gently off of the floor.

BB bit her lip, blushing faintly at the mention of the rose. "Oh. Um, that's what I came to talk about." Dani wolf whistled. "Oooh, did BB meet a guy?"

Annie giggled, squishing her sister. She'd been worried when Dani hadn't left her room that morning, and she figured good pork might do it. But when BB blushed, Annie couldn't help but laugh, either. "Blush, looking down, smiling. I'd say your hypothesis is confirmed."

"I stole his hat," BB giggled. She leaned against the wall, grinning. "See, I was having dinner, and there weren't any other tables, so I let him eat with me."

Dani carried Annie off to the kitchen, laughing when she flailed a little. "You're such a good person, BB. Was he cute?"

Annie flailed, kicking her feet when Dani started to carry her. "You stole his hat?" What guy wore a hat that much nowadays? "Why'd you steal his hat?" She wriggled. "Put me down or the pork won't get sauced right."

Dani grinned, bouncing Annie a little as they all moved toward the kitchen.

BB twirled a finger in her hair, grinning as she walked with them. "I did. I stole it because it's a vintage Devore and it's gorgeous. And I uh, left him a note." She laughed and felt the flower in her hair. "That's why he came to my house and stole my jewelry." She smiled dreamily, sitting down at the kitchen table.

Obediently, Dani set her sister down. "I will never understand thief flirting."

Annie laughed. "So you didn't steal it because it was gorgeous, you stole it because he was gorgeous." She squished Dani before going to start saucing the pork, talking with her back to the other two. "But he came to steal your jewellery? What'd he take? And why'd he know you wouldn't freak out at him?" Maybe it was a thief thing.

"Little bit of both. He was gorgeous, it was gorgeous, I want to see him again. It's not every day I meet a sexy thief who works for the FBI." She made a happy noise, stretching her legs out onto a chair.

Dani blinked, cocking her head to the side. "Huh, I met a pretty FBI agent the other day. Does he scream like a girl? Neal Caffrey?"

BB blinked, then laughed. "I don't know about the first part, but yeah, that's him." She shrugged and grinned. "He knew I wouldn't freak out because I told him to. I stole his hat, and left him a note that said 'your turn'. It's a game, you know?"

"Ah." Annie laughed, though she couldn't help being slightly bummed - Dani had met a pretty guy and not bothered to flirt with him? Things were bad. "Why'd he scream like a girl? And get yourselves some beers or something; the pork's ready." She had an extra for BB; she'd put her parents' chops on to simmer until they got home. "No more though, sorry; these two are for Daddy and Mom."

BB got up to get everyone a beer, smiling at Dani. She was secretly glad that she hadn't flirted with him, but sad that her friend was obviously upset. Dani shrugged. "He's not my type, he's way too pretty. I don't think he can handle quirky. But he's perfect for Beebs, she's pretty much perfect too. And he screamed like a girl because he saw a zombie." BB and Dani winced in unison. They all felt bad for people who came from elsewhere and saw supernatural things for the first time.

Annie, too. "Okay, I no longer judge him for screaming like a girl." She'd have shat herself, probably. She started handing out chops, one to Dani, one to BB. "Mache and fennel salad and popovers coming. And how pretty is pretty? We sure he likes girls?" Hey, it was something that should probably be asked.

Dani rolled her eyes. "You guys are such babies, they're just zombies. And I have no idea what mache is, but I'm stoked! And yeah, he likes girls. He's gorgeous, but he's pretty good at the flirting game."

BB nodded enthusiastically. "He's a great kisser, he likes girls. He put his hands on my face and ... mmph." She shifted in her seat at the memory.

Annie hooted, setting her own beer down. "You didn't say he kissed you! And I'm not a baby, I'm saying if I never saw one before I'd have peed myself a little." She stuck her tongue out at her sister, handing over the salad bowl. "Mache is a lettuce from Europe, it has kind of a nutty flavor. Cuts how sweet the fennel is."

"I stopped listening to you when you said lettuce. You know I don't speak rabbit food, Anniegirl." She smiled and turned to look at BB, her own eyes twinkling. "He kissed you?"

BB twirled her hair again, looking down. "Technically I kissed him. It's when I stole his hat. ... and it was really nice besides."

Annie giggled, sitting down to start eating. "So wait, you had a nice dinner, decided he was hot, decided to steal his hat and snogged him on the way out? You kind of make snap decisions, sweetie."

"If you'd seen him, you'd have made the same decision. Well, if you weren't Dani. Dani doesn't like pretty boys."

Her mouth full, Dani laughed. "Yeah, that's why I was with Sindre."

"Good point. Okay, if you liked pretty men who didn't wear eyeliner."

Annie laughed. "Men who wear eyeliner are either perfect in every way or total messes. The fact this guy doesn't is good." She dug into the pork. "Okay, that's good. I was worried."

Dani had been sitting making purring noises since she started eating. She rolled her eyes at her sister's fears, making a louder happy noise.

BB made a happy gustatory noise as well, nodding hard. "He's so masculine, in a really hot 1950s way." She bit her lip and sighed. "Mmph."

Annie raised an eyebrow. "Fifties? Fifties men tended to treat their women like shit, sweetie." She didn't like that she kept raising objections, but she really liked BB. She didn't want to have to kick the shit out of any guys on BB's behalf. Because she would.

"Well, it's not that he isn't respectful, he just dresses vintage." BB smiled and pulled the rose out of her hair, sniffing it and biting her lip. "He's ... I don't know. I just know I want to know more about him." She laughed a little to herself. "I haven't wanted that in a while."

"Ah, that's different." The clothes didn't necessarily make the man. Annie smiled. "Well, keep us updated. Or let us know if Daddy has to bail you outta jail or something." She winked, setting into the pork.
